FunFacts.world is an interactive, 3D educational platform and atlas designed to present fascinating data, history, and geographical information in a highly visual and engaging way.

## About the Project
Built using React, Vite, Styled Components, and Mapbox GL JS, the platform leverages 3D globes and interactive maps to visualize complex datasets, from geological events to historical borders. It provides an immersive and gamified learning experience.

- **Meteorite Landings**: A 3D interactive globe visualizing over 34,000 known meteorite landings, utilizing data from NASA and The Meteoritical Society. Includes data on mass, year of landing, and classifications.
- **Volcanoes**: Explores the world's volcanoes, their eruption histories, and Volcanic Explosivity Index (VEI). Users can filter between stratovolcanoes, shield volcanoes, and submarine volcanoes.
- **Nuclear Explosions**: Visualizes every known nuclear test from 1945 to 2017 on an interactive globe, categorized by country, yield, and type (atmospheric vs underground).
- **Interstate Wars (1816-2007)**: A historical map showing conflicts between nations over the past two centuries.
